35+ MUST know Galaxy Note 9 camera tips and tricks

animated lockscreen reverse slow-motion hidden food option well all those are available in your Galaxy Note 9 and today I’m gonna be sharing with you 38 different things you can do on your phone let’s do this hey welcome to another talking tech with a techie guy my name’s Liron Segev I make technology simple if this is your first time yeah smash that subscribe button especially if you’re into tech gadget apps making you more efficient and more productive with your systems there big shout out to Verizon for sending me the Nightman to review thank you for that and just to let you know that some of these settings I do realize have been carried across from the previous version of the notes they still call cool tech transfers forward so let’s get on to today’s video fire up your camera on your Galaxy Note 9 and the first thing we talk about is the various modes that are at the top there so no need to tap them with your finger at the top when you can simply scroll left or right to move between your modes on your screen now what you can do is go into your settings and you scroll down until you see the option called edit camera modes there it is click on that and choose rear camera now here the hidden ones that are not enabled by default something called food enable that but picking on the little tick box and you can also reorganize the modes till it suits the way that you want to operate so simply drag it up and down now I don’t use AR emoji so I get rid of that but what I will use is something called slow motion and I’m going to move it next to super slow motion and enable that I’ll get into those a little bit later I’ll show you how those work ok the front camera you can do exactly the same you can enable or disable and you can reorganize them again to the way that you want to operate so now when I go back into my camera Voodoo’s first then it’s Auto and I can simply swap left and right and get to the modes I want right let’s take a photo of this amazingly delicious and healthy looking food what you do is you’re going to food mode on your camera and now when you tap the screen it puts a little circle where the focus is going to be nice and clear and everything around that it’s going to be slightly hazy click on that and if you want to get a really beautiful shot for your Instagram zoom right in and get that beautiful shot straight in the middle if you want to zoom in you’ve got the two times effect on the side using the telephoto lens and press the gain and it will zoom right back out again okay let’s play with the slow motion and the super slow motion so remember slow motion is the one that we added into this and the difference between the two is as follows with the slow motion you press record and then you have the action on the screen once you stop recording go into your gallery and there is your video file complete with the slow motion section which you can adjust right once you’ve got the right settings just double check yeah that looks good and now you have a choice you can meter share it to save it it’s now becomes just a regular normal foul on it your fight now let’s move to the super slow motion now here you can see it’s different yeah you got the square and only the action that’s in the square will trigger the super slow motion so let’s set it in that particular location okay once I’ve adjusted to the right place then let’s move the ball out of the way and now I press record now it’s not recording anything at the moment it’s ready for the action as I throw the ball in now it looks pretty fast deflect nothing actually happened but watch this now let’s go to your gallery so that’s pretty cool it’s music that’s actually pre-built into it and you can change it let me show you that or an interest of getting a really cool shot so we know that you can zoom in and out by using the pinch and the fingers but your fingers all over the screen but what you can also do is use your shutter release to zoom in and out by moving it left and right now your screen is nice and free and you can see exactly what you’re doing when you take a picture of multiple subjects what you can do is actually get the camera to focus on the one or the other making sure that is in focus at all time what you can also do is obviously tap on the one subject and you’ll bring up the light meter at the bottom which is which you can get more light or less loud for that dramatic effect into the picture too so whenever you record a video it tends to crop out the SADS kind of zooming in more so than Apollo that you use out of the picture here’s what you can do hold the record button but don’t let go swipe up and it will show you what the frame will look like so that you can actually move all your subjects within frame there we go duckies back in let go and it will start to record now you don’t have that issue anymore so whilst it’s busy recording my video what I can also do is record still photos from what I can see on the screen simply press the camera button and it will snap a still photo does not disturb the video at all now if I want to zoom in all I can do is press the 2 times zoom in and zoom out or I can use the shutter release to zoom in and out as I did before when I was taking a still photo next up go into your settings and here you got two choices you’ve got a rear camera settings that you can play with and you got the forward camera settings that you can play with so let’s go to the real one and here you’ve got more megapixels more options to choose from but here’s something called save raw and JPEG file for those people who like to edit and repolish production later on their computer you can enable that right getting into your video sizes you’ve also got the ability to change it too right up to you HD at 60 frames per second and at the bottom you have an option to high efficiency video compression you can enable that reducing the file sizes on your phone but remember when you do use those high video sizes it will reduce functionality sometimes the colors can be a little bit overbearing and too saturated so go into your settings scroll down to HDR and switch that thing off too much rich tones can really blow out a photo whilst we in there switch on tracking autofocus and what that does is keep something in focus regardless if it’s moving on your screen or not so here’s my glasses about a tap on them enable the elta tracking and it will keep that in focus regardless where it is so think of actions like your child running around the field for example whilst we’re talking about high moving actions what you can do is hold down the shutter button to take continuous shots of the high action activity that’s happening now when you go into your gallery it will clamp them all together here I got 52 photos and now it allows me to choose the best photo if I scroll down at the bottom I can find the image that I want to actually keep another pretty cool thing that you can do is go to the thrill of dots at the top and choose create gif and what that will dazzle Christ a little animated gif of your high action activity from all those photos and your camera settings going to something called scene optimizer and make sure that’s enabled and essentially what that does is the camera tries to recognize the scene that you happens to be forming and give you the best shot and the best photo coming out of that scene now nothing’s clickable nothing’s capable you can’t customize anything you can either switch it off or switch it back on again now it doesn’t work all the time it’s not that effective you don’t have to rely on it but when it does work it does really give you some nice shots for example here’s an outside sunset cloudy scenes it didn’t recognize it but she’s not even click on it you can simply snap the photo or not now it does it space to try to be the most drama here but what you can do is I like to go into pro mode don’t be afraid to experiment in here when you go into pro mode you can play with apertures ISO white balance all of those but here what I’ll have to do is just play with the amount of light in the photo so yeah I’m gonna reduce that laughs to really give that shot a little bit more of a dramatic feel so let me show you the difference between the two photos so I guess my point is don’t be afraid to play with the pro mode there’s nothing that you can do to really and mess anything up at base gonna get a better result rather than having a fighter that you can’t actually use so go for it so pretty handy feature has been able to launch the camera with the power button we’ve had that for quite a while now now what you got to do is you go to go you to your camera settings and just make sure that’s enabled go into the quick launch and make sure that’s on once that’s on you double tap the power button and immediately launches the camera now note in some countries like India for example this is disabled because of the way that they handle the emergency calls is three push of the power button so you’re not gonna get it there now you can also customize what happens when you use the volume button you can either use it to take a picture record a video zoom or just use it for good old system volume but you do have that option to customize that as well right go into your settings and you’re going to scroll down until the Unison option called motion photo enable that and essentially what that does is it starts recording a couple of seconds before you took your shot so it kind of almost gives you this type of effect so I’m moving this guy around press the button technically I should only be able to see the back of the Ducks head right to go into your gallery you actually get a couple of seconds before the shot was taken useful not useful I don’t know some people like it so we spoke about the auto tracking which is keeps focus on an object that’s moving around your screen now what I want you to do oh look it actually picked up that the duck is actually got a face that’s quite funny with the automatic scene selector all right what I want you to do is now lock in the focus to a specific area so basically long hold a specific location and now it will just keep focus regardless of what’s happening on the screen will just focus on that one area if you want to fight this somewhere else simply tap and if you want to automatically lock in that ficus chin area long hold it again and there it is now it will lock that area and that will be focused so without the bottom you’ve got the flash we can leave it to auto on or off but now you’ve got something called full view mode which can switch on to take advantage of the nasty our screen and base you can see the entire thing become your viewfinder now you’ve also got filters we’ve got some built-in filters which you can basically give an effect on to the picture that you’re about to snap or you can even add some more and you can add some more you can actually download them so press the download button and then he goes to the galaxy app store and here are some more camera photo effects choose the one that you want let’s just say that one press install and now next time you want to use it go into the effect add the little plus press on it and there it is this is a cool one for you selfie people going to settings scroll down to the sea show pop and enable that if it’s not enabled at the moment and when you go back to your camera swipe up or swipe down to change it back into selfie mode now all you’re gonna do is hold your palm up let the camera see it and it will snap a photo now your palm doesn’t have to be up the whole time it’s just to activate it there it is and now to move it around and snap my photo touch the screen flip the screen up or down and it will go back to rear-facing camera a cute little bonus tip here go to your gallery find the picture that you want to work with press the three little dots at the top and then choose open in photo editor Pro so once that opens got onto the bottom which says decorations and the Sun shoes covers and now you get a whole bunch of little options to play with if you want to make whatever picture you want you want to make it very man crafty you can actually do that as well so there’s lots built into the photo editor to spend some time playing with that we’re only some really cool effects that you can actually have alright here’s another little trick go into your gallery find the slow-motion video that we did remember this one one were they all dropping on top of its head yeah that one okay what we’re gonna do is now go one step back press the three little dots at the top and now you can actually set that as your wallpaper I think that’s pretty cool let me show you what that looks like that’s right press that and if I put my screen at the lock screen on there it is now imagine doing this with your kids your family friends I think it’s quite a cool little touch now let’s go find one of our slow-motion files in a gallery once we got one basically click three little dots at the top and choose details now not only will show you that way you took the picture if you had that enabled but now you’ve got an option of having the same file but in Reverse really really cool little effect which you can then save or share sure that was exhausting 38 different things you can do on your note 9 I hope you guys picked up some cool tips and tricks that you maybe didn’t know before or that you didn’t know but now it’s just reinforces that if I missed anything let me know in the comments below if you haven’t seen the previous note 9 series definitely go check them out as well give the video a thumbs up because you’re cool and it really helps the channel a lot and I appreciate each and every one of you for doing that and I’ll see you guys on the next episode cheers for now
