8 Epic Challenges: Don’t Try This at Home

-He’s biting it. He’s biting it. [LAUGHTER] LIZZIE: No, no, no, no! Oh my god. Oh my god. [THEME MUSIC] Welcome, guys. As you probably have guessed, we
are watching challenge videos. MILES: Yep. That was delicious. LIZZIE: That was disgusting. So this came from
FoodForLouis, and he ate a giant live scorpion. The British ASPCA said that this
was a gratuitously cruel thing to do. They prepared a
case against him. They actually asked him to
undergo psychiatric evaluation. MILES: Rhett and Link
did the same thing. They had a scorpion too,
but it wasn’t alive, not like this one. LIZZIE: Oh, that’s OK. MILES: It was a
dead scorpion, so– LIZZIE: That’s why I love them. As some of you may remember,
Miles and I actually ate the moruga
scorpion chilies, one of the hottest
chilies in the world. MILES: Second hottest chili. LIZZIE: Pretty close
to the hottest. I have to say, we did
a pretty good job. And we’re actually going to
watch a video right now where Egoraptor eats chilies and also
reviews games at the same time. -(SCREAMING) “Monster Hunter,”
as you would expect is about hunt– hunting monsters. Oh! [SWALLOWS] OK. LIZZIE: So this has
over a million views. They have over
100,000 subscribers now, almost 200,000 subscribers. MILES: I’m starting to feel
bad for him as I watch it. First, I was like,
yeah, that’s what you get for being a maniac. But he can’t even talk. -[HACKING] [BLEEP] it. LIZZIE: Watch our
pepper challenge? MILES: Because we
handle it like bosses. -Bleh! -I made a huge mistake. EARNEST: Carly. CARLY: [INAUDIBLE]. EARNEST: Have you ever seen
anyone run the Food Gauntlet? CARLY: No. EARNEST: Check this out. -We have cinnamon for
the cinnamon challenge. We have ghost chillies. The higher-ups said that one
would be more than enough. Finally, we’re going to
wrap everything up today with the Banana
Sprite challenge. Let’s introduce Mr. Mark Potts. Here he is. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE] CARLY: Is that Mark? EARNEST: That is Mark. [LAUGHTER] Mark! CARLY: What are your
thoughts going through this? MARK POTTS: Being a
Mark Potts expert, I think ultimately
what he was going for was he was tired
of being so sexy, so he thought he needs
to look terrible. EARNEST: Wait, are you
sure that he was sexy? MARK POTTS: Yes. It was a miserable experience,
because those peppers were real. CARLY: Do you have two? MARK POTTS: Yeah. I had two real ghost peppers. CARLY: What? It’s all a hoax? EARNEST: Wait a second. MARK POTTS: So basically,
they said “ghost peppers.” But I don’t think they
were, because they weren’t hot at all. EARNEST: Do you guys want to
see Mark Potts run the Food Gauntlet again? If so, let us know
in the comments, and tell us what he
should eat this time. MARK POTTS: Make it pizza. CARLY: Or don’t. Earnest, I’ve got the
ultimate challenge for you. This is called “chubby bunny.” I think we’ve all
played it once or twice. This was done by the
Wassabi brothers, which are two best friends–
Alex and Roi. -[MUFFLED SPEECH] -(MUFFLED) Chubby bunny! EARNEST: This guy is
drooling marshmallows. Has he already lost? CARLY: No. EARNEST: You can
get away with that? -That was fun. You know what that means? -(TOGETHER) Upgrade! We got go-karts! We got go-karts! Chubby bunny! CARLY: They have over
2 million subscribers. EARNEST: 2 million,
and I get it. Because you know what? These dudes are riding
go-karts, stuffing marshmallows in their mouth. Who wouldn’t want to watch that? I want to do this
when I leave here. I just want to get in my
car and turn on my camera and start shoving
marshmallows in my mouth. CARLY: We just see your car
on the side of the road. ALEX: Ali. ALI: Yes. ALEX: Before this video,
cinnamon was just a spice. ALI: That’s right. ALEX: After this video,
it became a challenge. ALI: What? ALEX: So this is the very
first cinnamon challenge video. It has almost 3.5 million views. -Ready? Go. -[COUGHING] [LAUGHTER] ALEX: All you have to do? Get a spoonful cinnamon. Eat it. That’s it. ALI: This cinnamon
challenge video led to thousands, if not
millions, of other cinnamon challenge videos. ALEX: Yeah. This one is from 2010. It has over 3 million views. -Just eat it, OK? Just swallow. Swallow it. -[WHIMPERING] -No, no, eat it. Come on, you can do it. You can do it. -You can do it. -You’ll be, like, the
smallest person ever to do it. ALI: That is a
champion right there. This kid is destined
for greatness. ALEX: Yeah. He’s probably going to
be our president one day. It is a good one,
but it’s no GloZell, which is my favorite
cinnamon challenge video. If you haven’t seen
it, check it out. It has almost 40 million views. ALI: Most of the videos we’ve
seen involve eating something. But this is the no
mirror makeup challenge. So this is grav3yardgirl,
who we love. This particular video has about
a million and a half views. She’s got almost 3 and
1/2 million subscribers. She does sort of everyday
makeup stuff and product reviews but with a really
great sense of humor. -Where is the cheekbone? I’m, like, finding
the cheekbone. Do I have them anymore? I want to have that sunken-in
sad look like Winona Ryder. ALI: Yeah, I think
she did all right. I think she looks
pretty good considering. ALEX: It looks easy. ALI: Does it? ALEX: Yeah, it does. ALI: Why don’t you
give it a shot? ALEX: If you just– you
just got to get the top. It’s just a simple–
I watched her do it. But here’s the thing. There’s a contour on your nose. But if you get
right in there, it shows off the part of your nose
that you need people to see. ALI: Ladies, he’s married. I’m sorry to break it to you. MILES: You said you
like mustard, right? LIZZIE: I do like mustard. MILES: Do you like
mustard enough to down two family-size
bottles of mustard? LIZZIE: Probably. MILES: Furious Pete–
he is the man when it comes to these sort of
bizarro food– he does it all. -I don’t want to do
this, but a lot of guys have asked me to try to
chug a bottle of mustard. I’m not the biggest
fan of mustard either. [COUGHS] Ugh! MILES: He started doing these
eating videos back in 2007, and it got him into a
legitimate eating contest. LIZZIE: Yeah, I can see that. MILES: It would be cool
if he left the top on, and you can just see him go– LIZZIE: That’s what
I wanted to see. I don’t like watching
this, because it– MILES: It makes it more violent. LIZZIE: It’s grossing me out. MILES: It’s weird that
I’m more concerned about the guy who drank the
mustard than the guy who ate a whole scorpion alive. LIZZIE: For sure. MILES: Well, those were some of
our favorite challenge videos. I hope you guys liked them. LIZZIE: We have a
great playlist for you after the show with lots
more challenge videos than you’re going to love. MILES: And now to
play us out, a song challenge video from our boy– BOTH (FALSETTO): Roomie! [MUSIC – ROOMIE, “HIS NAME IS
PEWDIEPIE”] MILES: Oh, bleh.
