The Hologram Nova is a global 2G and 3G cellular
USB modem for IoT (pronounced: “I-O-T”) and single-board computers, such as the Raspberry
Pi and the BeagleBone, and is designed to provide easy access to the u-blox (pronounced:
you-blocks) SARA-U201 (pronounced: sara-you-two-“o”-one) USB interface. The SARA-U2 series modules include a high-speed
USB 2.0 compliant interface with a maximum data rate of 480 mega-bites-per-second. The module itself acts as a USB device and
can be connected to any USB host. The Hologram Nova board is a slim design that
measures, without its enclosure, roughly 61 millimeters by 19 millimeters by 5 millimeters. This USB modem is fully end-certified and
has a temperature range from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius.
