How to Train for the 100m Sprint : Tips on the First 70m of the 100m Sprint

DARREN STORR: Hi, my name is Darren Storr
on behalf of Expert Village. Midway into the race, around 70 meters 75 meters, this is
where you start to tense up or lactic acid starts to accumulate. Always maintain flexibility
on this event because you want to powerful– you want to run powerful and you want to run
efficiently for this 100 meters. When at 80, 90 meters or 100 meters, this is the one you
start to–this is when you want to start to get ready to lean towards the tape. You want
to have a fluid running so you want to be [INDISCERNIBLE] with the race and with your
finish line, so always remember to try and get to the finish line because you’re always
running against the tape.
